How often should I
restain my home or deck?

We recommend that you restain your home every 4 to 5 years, and that you restain your deck at least every other year.

The Rocky Mountains are beautiful, but the harsh climate weathers our homes quickly. Left without maintenance, the siding and decks on our homes and cabins deteriorate rapidly. The wood will crack and lose its stability, not to mention looking unsightly.
